5th Grade Spartan Boys win on the road at Fort Branch 5th Grade vs Fort Branch Community (28 - 22) Win In their first game back after Christmas break, the Spartan 5th grade boys went on the road and snapped the Twigs unbeaten record, coming away with a win. The Spartans jumped out to a 13 point lead going into halftime, and the Twigs looked all but wilted. It was a tale of two halves, however, as the home team appeared to turn over a new leaf coming out of halftime and outscored the Spartans 16-10 in the third quarter. The Spartans were able to handle the pressure in the fourth quarter and pick up their fourth consecutive victory and improve their record to 6-1. The Spartans are back in action Saturday in a tournament at Sullivan.
