We don’t keep score at scrimmages, but we can safely say it was a happy bus ride back to Verne. Harmon (single, double), Dobbyn (2RBI), and Worland (single, triple) led the way at the plate. Rehwald (2R) Neal (2R) and L. Hartwick (1R) drew two free passes each. Hussey, Shelton, and Rehwald reached on a HBP. On the hill, West got the Win for his 3IP, 0ER, 0H, 1BB, and 4K. Barmes, Worland, and L. Hartwick struck out 2 each and L. Hartwick earned the Save. The Spartans begin their regular season at home on Monday against the Sullivan Golden Arrows.
