The Spartans traveled to Northeast Dubois tonight and the 1A #5 Jeeps emerged victorious in a Blue Chip Conference battle. We had plenty of chances. Our outfield was solid tonight, but our infield wasn’t sharp enough. Top Offense: 2B Maddox Sargeant (3-3, RBI); CF Evan Hartwick (1-3, R); SS Cooper Neal (1-3); and SP/3B Mac Harmon laid down a sweet sac bunt and struck out 4 in 4ip. The Spartans (8-8, 2-1 BC) battle the Princeton Tigers in Verne on Friday in a Varsity/JV doubleheader at 6pm ET.
