MS boys soccer went to Goebel Soccer Complex on Saturday and picked up two more wins on the season to finish the year 12-2-2 and close out the year Champions of the C bracket in the SIJHSC tournament! First game was against NE Dubois where we started a little sluggish but turned up the heat in the second half winning 2-0. Toby Tewell and Edward Sanchez-Bautista found the back of the net for the Spartans. Keeper Easton Dycus collected 9 saves. Game two was against Gibson Southern and the boys were hot from start to finish winning 6-0. Goals came early and often for the Spartans with Toby Tewell collecting another hat trick (3), Bryce Kocher (2), and Caleb Wilson 1. Keepers Easton Dycus and Gannon Haney collected 4 and 2 saves respectively. Our defensive effort and pressure for both games were outstanding holding 2 very good teams scoreless!
