SK Spartans Girls Swim team swam against and with Lincoln on Thurs Eve, 1/16/25 at the Vincennes YMCA. Our two seniors were recognized with the 3 Lincoln Seniors and a reception followed for teams, friends and families. The lone Rivet boy swimmer also participated in the Knox County meet. SK Results: Senior Elaina Cramer finished 1st in the 200 Free with a time of 7:53.47. She was also 3rd in the 500 Free with a time of 7:53.74. Senior Eliza Dellinger finished 1st in the 50 Free with a new personal best of 28.04 s. She also finished 1st in the 100 Free with another new personal best of 1:01.87. Eliza also did an exhibition event of the 100 Backstroke. While it didn't count for team points, she finished 1st with a time 1:19.67. Eliza and Elaina joined 2 Lincoln swimmers to compete in the final event of the night, the 400 Freestyle Relay. They also one that event against another full Lincoln relay team with a time of 5:29.13. No points were awarded for this event. It was a fun evening--thank you Lincoln Swim for including the Spartans in the senior night festivities! The next swim meet will be Tues, Jan. 28 at 6 PM at Northeast Dubois.
