The Lady Spartans faced an uphill battle early, falling behind in the first half and struggling to convert their offensive opportunities. Despite the scoreboard, the team showed determination and grit throughout the match, demonstrating a commitment to learning and improving as the season progresses. Goalkeeper Kodee Yarber had a busy night in the net, recording 7 saves and breaking up multiple scoring chances. Her effort and resilience between the posts prevented an even wider margin.
