The South Knox Middle School Girls' Cross Country team finished second to Jasper with a score of 85 at the Northeast Dubois Invitational on Tuesday evening. Jacie Shepard led the team with a 6th place finish overall and a time of 13:07. Lee Emma Dellinger finished 2nd on the team and 11th overall with a time of 13:51. Rounding out the top 7 for the Lady Spartans were Lydia Emmert (16th, 14:06), Brynn Leser (20th, 14:23), Audra Like (32nd, 14:35), Shelby French (38th, 15:07), and Maggie Nolting (44th, 15:16). Also racing for the Lady Spartans were Sydney Ellerman (15:58) and Lyla Chesser (17:54). The SKMS Lady Spartans run next at the Gibson Southern Invitational this Saturday. Go Lady Spartans!
